We are looking for a quality-conscious and dedicated senior software engineer to join our Software Team in our Technology and Product Development Department with primary base at our facilities in Hobro. As our new Senior Software Engineer your primary function is to participate in developing and testing of Controls Software. You will become a part of a dedicated team with four software engineers and a cyber security software specialist, who are reporting directly to our Team Lead of Software Development.
As a senior software engineer your main areas of responsibilities are:
- Maintaining existing codebase for our Hydrogen Fuel Cell products.
- Designing, implementing, reviewing, documenting, and testing high quality code in close collaboration with the rest of the team.

Who are you?
You have at least 5 years of experience from a similar position where you are able to apply your experience within this role. We expect that you have strong programming skills in multiple languages, e.g. ST, C, C++, Python, .NET, C# and an ability to quickly learn new languages and framework. Further, you have experience working in CI/CD setup.
It would be highly preferred that you have knowledge about hardware, but the most essential is that you must be able to work from the understanding that there are no set boundaries between software and hardware, thus being able to visualize the functionalities and identify where to implement software. You thrive in a dynamic team and workday where your assignments are versatile and wide-ranging. You know how to deliver high quality results in a time-constrained environment due to your strong ability to prioritize, execute and meet deadlines.
